Playing a very clever game with the 2nd bid not much higher than the previous. Really dirty way of trying to unsettle the player.
I think 30 million will be their final offer and the [Poor language removed] in charge will accept regardless of manager or player's wishes.

Yes - we have. It was 16 million immediately. Then there was two instalments of 4 million during last season. The last instalments are appearance contingent.

How can Chelsea use something as a bargaining tool when the contract is already signed for Lukaku.

They would have to try and break a contract. That would give Everton grounds to sue in court.

I'm a bit disappointed that Martinez hasn't come out with something like "£25 million, no he is not available for loan!" like he did when the mancs were sniffing around Barkley a while ago.

Me too. If this bid was real, which I'm not convinced it was, then just laugh at them in the refusal.
