John Stones transfer saga

It's a poker game. A club can seem prepared to let a player rot in the reserves all they want, but in the end they usually don't, because they get a fee they deem worth more than a player that they can't use. Neither of Jagielka or Baines kicked up enough of a fuss, so they weren't sold; Lescott and Fellaini did, so they were. More often than not it's up to a player to force a move in this kind of situation, but that doesn't mean you have to sell low if they do.

It now means that 25 mil is the very least he can go for.

Says the man who admitted he does not know anything.

I'm not posting anything on here on this subject other than to say we've virtually made all the immediate payments for lukaku.

Only performance related add ons remain to be paid. (appearances etc)

Which you've plucked out of thin air and have no idea whether or not it's true.

Fellaini situation was very different. Martinez just wasn't that fussed on him and knew he could replace him with McCarthy who he clearly preferred.

Apart from the fact that they're saying we'd sell him for 30 million I think that's a reasonable article. All it's really saying is that ManU have asked to be informed if we get to a point with Chelsea that we agree a price.

'United have contacted intermediaries working on Stones’s behalf to make him aware that they would welcome him at Old Trafford but they have not yet made a formal approach to Everton and it is Chelsea who are at the front of the queue for his signature.'

Thats an illegal approach

You think we would knock back 35m?

You been supporting Everton more than 5 mins ffs?
More decades than I care to remember.
Not for sale ...dead easy when you read it.
If you look back at the posts , after a full season playing every week, then go to the Euros
he may be sold for a ridiculous amount, the Board know this.
Unless its an obscene (50 mil) bid he will be here for at least another year.
