tim cahill
Player Valuation: £50m
We negotiated the best deal we could for a player we were willing to lose. What's wrong with that?Yet we made him put in a transfer request and secured a large fee.

More decades than I care to remember.
Not for sale ...dead easy when you read it.
If you look back at the posts , after a full season playing every week, then go to the Euros
he may be sold for a ridiculous amount, the Board know this.
Unless its an obscene (50 mil) bid he will be here for at least another year.
"Everton official telling us this evening that they have "no intention" of selling the defender."
who do you guys think it is?
Make your mind up mate. Arsenal or Utd?35m and hes a gooner
Can see Utd paying the asking price
Yet we made him put in a transfer request and secured a large fee.
Oh ok ye...someone just made it up.Haha have the club said not for sale mate? As in a official statement?
What credibility ? Don't make me laugh. It's over now imo, the board would do too much damage to their credibility of they now sold him, they could have easily just rejected the bid and not said anything.
Unless Stones throws a transfer request in he won't be going anywhere imo
Talksport saying he wants to go to Chelsea and has made it known. How do they know this, everything I have seen he says he is happy here.
I wouldn't give credit to them for merely keeping hold of a player. I'd be very surprised if it doesn't unfold in the manner described though.mate, do you really believe that?
will you give credit to the board if they wont sell him?
Perhaps this guy from the Daily Mail?Sure I read somewhere completely unreliable that 30m was their upper limit.
That's why we spent 28m on Lukaku? What credibility ? Don't make me laugh.
I'm more convinced than ever that our board are quite content with just being a premier league side. They're not bothered about honours and are only interested in making a few bob. When me and you and every other Evertonian get excited about young talent like Stones, Barkley, Lukaku and the others currently coming through, its a very different kind of excitement that tingle the bollocks of our board members. We get excited because we want to see us try and get to the next level on the field. They get excited because they see nothing but pound signs.
As long as Everton stay in this league, that's all they care about. Spending the bare minimum for us to achieve that is their ultimate priority. Other clubs in this league spend money to attempt to improve their standing in the league and improve upon their previous season. We only spend to replace what we let go, thus maintaining what we had, to just move sideways.
Stones WILL be sold within the next 12 months, no doubt about it. I'm guessing somewhere around 35m will see him gone and with that money we generate, half of it will be made available for his replacement and the rest will be sucked into Bill's black hole where nothing escapes.
I wouldn't give credit to them for merely keeping hold of a player. I'd be very surprised if it doesn't unfold in the manner described though.
