John Stones transfer saga

It could be a watershed moment.....Roberto slays Goliath against the odds. I can see Bill writing the musical now.....Stonesy and his Amazing Phenomenal Loyalty starring none other than Sylvester Stallone as Catalan heart throb Roberto Martinez and Timothy Spall playing the Chosen One.

In the finale Roberto is showered with golden oil and Tsar Abramovich ( strangely played by Andriy Yarmalenko) begs him to let the Barnsley Beckenbauer become the new John Terry ( played by some no-toothed cockney toe rag off Jeremy Kyle). Roberto sets fire to the golden oil with his Sky remote signifying the strength given by the new TV money, and gives him a number 5 royal blue jersey with the immortal words " young man, you are phenomenal, really exciting for Evertonians...forget Terry, forget Jose, forget the roubl-illions..you my son are the next Brian Labone"

Sticky Fingers ?

I like it.

The home game against Chelsea next month will be tasty, can see It being similiar to the Utd one last season but more intense, a bearpit with the lads soaking up all their pressure before slamming a few past their keeper with a baying mob in the crowd cheering as Rom and Stones celebrate in the royal blue of everton

We have a winner!!!!
Brilliant stuff mate. It is posts like this that make GOT the best forum on the interweb. Kudos

PS I recently got a 1 week ban for penning a not dissimilar 'flight of fancy'-type post. The mods message that came with the ban went "worried about your sanity". lol lol

I said a value to their club and the player must agree. No mind of their own? Sorry but that is their problem. Love the idea that players are in this for the shirt and not the money. The prospect of injury as you bring it up is real and obviously a factor.. Everton value the lad then give him a contract to take that worry out of the equation.

I just dont care.

I don't know if it's been posted but the transfer fella on Talkbollocks said this afternoon that he had been told from someone at Everton that the decision lays entirely with Martinez, the board have told him they are ok with whatever Martinez decides.

So with Stones being Martinez idea of his wet dream of a CB, then if it is Martinez in charge then he will not sell him.

I could see that all right.

Personally, I don't believe the board will sell him.

Nor do I believe Bobby would sell him.

IMO it us all down to Stones himself.

If he doesn't want to go then Chelsea will have to look elsewhere.

'City, Man U and Arsenal (and the refs association?) didn't want us to win the title last season, lucky we didn't listen to them either...this is a business, a business where you have to win when you are a club like Chelsea, we want our man, we are going after him before said bidding war which makes good sense to anyone with half a clue, now suppose that martinez wants to have a whinge or we ruffle some feathers with Evertonians...well that's more than acceptable to us if we get our man in a timely fashion '

Insufferable
