That in my opinion was a cute insulting answer to the media - as his line Manager he would be handed the transfer request or told about it RM would be in the know - the media just print what Chelsea tell them to or do it as their scoop etc!

Spot on mate......Martinez would be the first person to be informed if anything regarding a transfer request was submitted , his answer...a simple NO.

No, it clearly doesn't confirm either thing.

Baines didn't leave. Does that automatically prove he wanted to stay? No. Does it prove he wanted to go? No.

It might nudge the suggestion one way or the other, but it proves nothing.

Certainly doesn't prove if a player's "head was turned" - Stones's performances however are doing plenty to prove that that ISN'T the case, whether he's interested in leaving or not.

The report wasn't that he had handed one in anyway, it was that Stones was "close to" or going to... so martinez, as of this morning, is correct. Doesnt mean to say he wont hand one in though...

Having watched Moses many times when he was at Wigan, I can quite categorically state that he is not a Premiership quality player and never will be.

not sure about all this talk about stones being a benchwarmer for chelsea. he's definitely better than cahill at the moment. can't see why he wouldn't be a first team starter after a few games.

they've conceded 5 in the first two games.
