Mourinho has been such a classless beaut more than ever this summer. That weight jibe at Benitez, the whole blaming the Doctor facade, getting their arses handed to them by City then denying it was a fair result, and of course being a complete spanner towards EFC. The helmet.

I want nothing more than to see us spank Chelsea in 3 weeks time with the fans booing every touch of the ball a chelsea player makes, seeing Mourinho blame the toffee lady for his title challenge ending in September would be the finest karma around.
Think the atmosphere is going to be right up there on this one..

If stones does end up leaving then I hope utd come in for him and he opts to go to them instead, would love to see mourinho's face then.

Sorry to break it to you mate but Chelsea are definitely a bigger club than us.

Chelsea are a rich man's toy.
Everton are a proper, traditional football club, pioneer of the game and founding member of the football league and boast the most years in the top division.

Everton have been and forever shall be, a more relevant and 'bigger' club than Chelsea.

We haven't won anything in 20 years. We haven't been relevant for a long time sadly and in the modern game Chelsea are a much bigger club.

Doesn't make them 'bigger'.
Many fans follow success. If Abromovich pulls out, Chelsea are in trouble.
Man City are the same imo.
We just need investment.
Even before Abromovich they were Champions League regulars and won a few trophies.

Chelsea have won 4 titles, 6 FA Cups, 4 League Cups, 1 Champions League, 1 Europa League and 1 Cup Winners Cup since we won our last trophy. I just don't see how we can be bigger than a club that's won all that when we've won absolutely nothing in 20 years. Our last period of real success was nearly 30 years ago.

See this is where some really don't get it

Everton turnover what £120 million Chelsea without a penny piece from the Russian turnover inexcess of £300 million

What makes a big club? Trophies ? Support ? Turnover? What?

I was directed the other day to a chart detailing the all time attendances and yes MAn Utd are there,Arsenal are there Liverpool are there and Spurs are there but so are Chelsea

Everton are a great team but so are Man City so are Chelsea and players in the modern era couldn't give a flying fig about about what happened nearly a hundred year ago they look at the here and now
