John Stones transfer saga

Is this a mis-type or am I understanding it wrong?

sell on clause and help our club survive and progress (I think its 75% we have in the contract :)).

Anyway good luck with the season and good luck with the battle for Stones. Im sure he won't be distracted and will give 100% whatever is happening.

That can't be right surely.
There'd be no sense in selling him - even for 80m.[/QUOTE]

are you guys for real ? ffs

Just hope it doesn't drag out like the Sterling deal so we have no time to spend any of the money. He will go though, that's a racing certainty as we don't have the ambition to match that of top players.

Tell them to stop wasting their time and he's categorically not being sold this window. Issue a statement to that effect - have a quiet word with John explaining this and move on.

The idea that the media will force a move is nonsense.

Yeah, he could've meant 75% of any profit over a certain amount or 75% back of the fee we paid them, smarty pants!

Anyways, the mere thought of life without Stones surely excuses us a lapse of clarity?!

He's not leaving, I'm quite confident on that. Seems too much of a level headed lad to me.

If he goes it will be because the club force him to move as the fee will be wanted.

if they offer about £40m + remy that would be decent imo.

actually, nah, stones is simply faultless. I think he's another one i accept will almost certainly be playing for a better club in a few years time. I think he could play for barcelona given his composure and ease on the ball. would actually love to see a british centre back go over there and be a success if he's not going to play for us.

anyway, with chelsea getting falcao and looking at mitrovic, that surely means remy will be available. A loan, with a permanant next summer would be a very good deal for us tbh. no way we can afford to buy him outright with this summer's budget and get the other key areas strengthened.

...unless we sell big.

They'll offer 30m ish and we will accept because we have to. Let's just hope it gets reinvested properly.

come on soft lad..... who agrees a 75% sell on fee ffs.......
No one, soft lad. Hence why I originally asked if it was a mis-type or some sort of intricate detail of a deal then explained what else it could've been. x
