Look at the benchmarks set by the Luke Shaw, Rio Ferdinand, David Luiz, Raheem Sterling transfers, then look at Chelsea's hardball tactics on Lukaku, then tell them to do one for anything less than 55M

We will inevitably lose Stones sooner rather than later. I don't want it to be this summer though and nor do I think it will be.

Next summer, £50m.

There's a reason why the greatest manager in the game in Mourinho with the best team in the League in Chelsea are after our 21 year old centre half.

I would be furious if we sold Stones for anything near £25m. This would have to be a huge fee, £50m.
 
Getting a bit sick of people saying they would sell Stones at £20-35mil to be honest...

£60mil would be his value and even then he would be worth more to us.

Quite clear Martinez is building something special here.

I personally can't stand hype. I hate all this nonsense about how the likes of McCarthy, Fellaini, Besic, Barkley are the worlds greatest players, how they're all worth 800 million billion squillion dollars, and how Real Madrid are preparing an imminent bid for them as we speak. It's BS hype from a club's own supporters who massively overrate their players.

John Stones is not being overhyped. He actually is as good as people say he is, and he is only going to get better. You will be seeing John Stones mug lift the Premier League trophy at the beginning of Match of the Day in the not too distant future. Stones is of a quality that is a bracket above any of our other players, and I'd say only Lukaku has the potential to join him in that very top bracket.

Money and lots of it is the only way we will get into the top four and sustain it. We couldnt even manage the europa and the prem with our squad last season... and nowt has changed.
