John Stones transfer saga

All those whoppers who clap Kenwright and the board. How do you feel now ?

All those Evertonians smirking along with Mourinho for his antics. How do you feel now ? Mourinho was/is and always will be a galactical bellend.

If this is true, he HAS to be replaced with Van Dijk & Mori for Cb's

Then Yarms. It would be criminal to do this and not bring in Yarms, just imagine the fume and disappointment amongst the Evertonians :(

It's the timing and circumstance, which you ought to understand.

We cannot sell the player now, we just can't. If we do, we are confirming our status as a selling club, displaying zero ambition and basically waving the white flag and telling every talented player we have to jump ship at the first opportunity.

But that's what we are with this board. They can cover it up and sugar coat it all they want.

Unless they invest and we win trophies. It will happen EVERY YEAR.

If the transfer request is true, I would like to see bobby come out and say that the lad is for sale to the highest bidder. Under no circumstances is he going to Chelsea. Its mourinho's big mouth that has kicked all this off. Sell him to anybody but Chelsea, even if its £5m less than Chelsea offer, speak to city and united - Chelsea's rivals and hope that city beat them to the title by 1 point with stones being a mainstay in the team.

Everton FC - its time we got dirty.

He's got a five year contract and wants toplay for England. Tell him he stays and he can do sod all about it........
Realistically we could do that. I think once the window closes he would knuckle down and play simply because the Euros are coming up.

However what would be the point if we don't strengthen and push for top 4. We would face the same issue in January and then again next summer and we might not be offered 40m again.

If we where going keep him against his wishes we would need to bring in Yarmolenko and aim to have a really really good season a bit like Liverpool when they kept Suarez but if the investment isn't there we should just sell...... and the board should resign.

Was told this last week that it was happening so not surprised. Also by the father of one of the players after the game on Sunday, so it must be pretty common knowledge inside.

Chelsea have played the snidiest of games with the willingness of the media and that should never be forgotten. This is how modern footie is though. It's patting little Everton on the head.

One year after a five year contract and he's barely into his twenties. He thinks he's outgrown Everton.

I still wouldn't sell him. Too much water under the bridge now to sell up. Even if that means he's dropped from the team for a bit.

If we did sell then the price for every player we would subsequently go for would go up so its a hopeless task.

Hold your nerve Everton.

Interesting thoughts Chico, but surely the player holds all the cards these days?
It doesn't make any sense to me for our club to hold on to him anymore, sell him to the highest bidder, preferably not Chelsea.

Any player who has publicly said he wants to leave will always be hated by Evertonians so he can 'Koff.

Use the money to strengthen the squad, which looks paper thin. This can be the only positive.
