He could have a horrific knee injury in a few weeks and never be the same player again. That's one consideration that makes players move up in salary.

Stones is a far better player than Rodwell but it's not like Stones is a massive idol of many blues. He's loved, no doubt, but not to the same extent (yet) of the very top EFC idols.

We are under no pressure to sell. Only way it's gonna happen is if the lad effectively goes on strike (or if we get a ridiculous offer - 60 million+. That's not likely to happen. He's a sound lid.
