Come on Bizzaro you as much as anyone knows that with a pauper board we will always sell our better players to anyone bigger than us (and that's quite a few now) just to survive. As long as this board is in situ nothing will change. Its the cycle that allows us to survive. Just imagine if we kept Rooney we still would not have won anything because the money was not there to build around him. That is the unfortunate circumstance we are in with a massive Evertonian in charge who has not got the resources to fund a premier league club without selling. I blame the board for making us like this. Who wants to be a proper club rather than keeping and adding players at will.....I certainly don't.

Rooney, Lescott, Fellaini, Arteta, and err Rodwell. I don't believe we've sold any other players our manager(s) would rather have kept.

EDIT: Carry on with the hyperbole if you want though. What would have happened if we kept Rooney???? Oh, yeah, you've already said. We defo would have won nothing.

I hope you're right, but we will see. Sterling went for £49m, there is no way he will go for a fee bigger than that.

We'd likely win nothing even if he stayed, because we don't have the squad

That's the fault of our current board, but we'll never do anything about that board because we're not united as a fan base

Thus the cycle continues

Not saying he will. But if he's not gonna 'kick off' and the gaffer wants him, then they're gonna have to offer ridiculous money to buy him this summer.

This in spades.

If we can get WAY above market value for him then it's best for Everton FC if he is sold.

We are lacking in so many areas in the squad, and currently have no money to address it. We need another striker, we need another winger, we need a creative midfielder, we need a backup centre back, a better goalie.

If we keep Stones we have a good team, but no real competition in the squad and will be relying on shyte like Naismith, McGeady, Kone, Hibbert to step in from time to time.

If we can get 30m / 35m for him, we can buy at least three new players to slot directly into the starting XI. We'd be a better team for it.

Obviously it'd hurt to see him go, but it could work out ok.

Not as good as David Unsworth, had hanky panky with my mates mum while playing for Town <3

(He was a Leeds/Liverpool fan and we used to make so many jokes about it
