John Stones transfer saga

McCarthy, Stones and Lukaku combined would probably be the three most important players and the key to any success as when all three play together and are on form, we're a really good side

McCarthy is most important of the three though, in my opinion

Still think Barkley should be mentioned among this lot.

He was woefully out of form for most of last season, but he'll be a big player for us.

What is very much in our favour is that Stones knows he will be first choice for us next season which is exactly what he needs for his development, especially with the Euros next year. At Chelsea, he may well still be in the England team because he's English and plays for Chelsea, but he won't be first choice. He's as down to Earth as you can be at his age I reckon and will be thinking of his future career rather than his current pay packet.

People read posts like the one you just quoted and think "Lunatic Fringe"

No one has been able to make a reasoned anti board argument that hasn't essentially been a cloaked attack at the fan base at large

Hence your post is 100% accurate

Eh!! Seen plenty of reasoned arguments its just that people are turning a blind eye. All I am saying is we have to sell our better players to keep going for another couple of years. When we see talent we all know they will be gone. Why can't we keep hold of them and build around them? answer is we cannot afford keep and to build. Vicious cycle that we cannot get out of. Why? You know very well.

What do the fan base at large have to do with three failed stadium projects, or Moyes having to go three years without buying a first team player?

I've switched my bathroom scales to kg's instead of stones

I've emptied 3 cans of stones bitter down the sink

and I'm planning on removing all the stones from my back garden later, although that could be a time consuming task so I might not actually do that one, but you get the idea
Paint them blue and sell them to Elstone. Could make yourself a few million.

If I ever get gallstones I'm gonna say they're gallbricks
