Well Chelsea lost 3-0 to City the week before so that's weird logic if that is it. More likely the news that Chelsea were in talks with Garay made Stones realise that they actually do need a centre back and he'd have to push Everton if he wanted to get the move.

Chelsea can lose to City and still win the league mate.. we lose to City and will fight for top 10 without any real signings.

I really had hope for this season so many young promising players and we could build something good for seasons to come.
Perhaps in a few years compete with the top four.
Then instead he wants to be fourth choice in Chelsea that is so sad. One more great season for us and England he would be first choice in what ever club he wanted.

But now he will be like all the other English players in Chelsea and City. Forgotten

One thing I wil say on the Stones saga, as a Chelsea fan I do want him and think he's a very talented lad but I think the price is way to much. Would you be happier if you got a player in the deal? Say Moses?

Well like I said, I don't think it's anything to do with that. I think the news that Chelsea were 'on the verge' of signing another centre back is actually what has caused him to hand in a transfer request. Too much of a coincidence that the two happened in the same day.
