Last week, Martinez insisted that not even the submission of a transfer request would change Everton’s stance.
sod it throw him out of the squad till September the 2nd, and play Browning show him who is boss - WBA have done this with the starlet so we should do the same - panic buying now with 6 days left is Hari Kari!
Also wheres the Sky money gone BK, and the Board who remain stum?????

Well I have just had to explain to my 4 year old son who has been in tears all afternoon, who has a shirt with 'Stones' on the back , why John doesn't love Everton anymore and why we probably won't be seeing him play for us in the future

Ok, so it was my wife explaining to me in an attempt to stop me sobbing but you get the idea......

'Twas ever thus. But this club was here long after the likes of Dixie and Ball left, and it will be long after John Stones goes. It's the frustration of being an Evertonian that remains a constant.
Totally different Bally , and Dixie wanted to stay Dean turned down Arsenal - Stones only has potential - not fit to polish those players boots!

I would tell him he is going nowhere. He can rot in the reserves if he sulks. Send out a message to him and any other player who thinks theyare bigger or better than Everton FC. Big week coming up, sell him and Martinez appears weak and Chelsea's disgusting media campaign wins. Tell them to **** off!
This all day long. How good would this be. But unfortunately I think we'll cave in.

The most likely scenario is,the club ie kenwright want to sell him ,for top dollar, they don't want to sell him to early in the window,as they will be expected to spend some of the stones transfer money.
In the final week of the transfer window, they will ask/tell stones to submit a transfer request ,as they want the money and don't want to spend it.
Trouble is the majority of blues are blinkered and can't see the corruption and mis management the present board continue to deliver.
I love EVERTON but despise the custodians of our club.

The club is deluded to think Stones head would not be turned by the prospect of winning things and doubling his money bad gamble mismanagement whatever you want to call it we should of got micah richards in the summer when we let Distin and Alcatraz go

As for making Sones honor his contract that is a joke once a player asks for a move the bridges are burned
i just hope Arsenal come in for him to p!ss Chelsea off

Thinking about it logically it's hard to be annoyed with Stones.

If your mate was earning a good wage at one company and and was still under contract, would you hate on him and call him a judas for asking to break off his contract so he could go and work for a bigger company with double the wages and a chance to work at the highest level of his/her field ?

The answer is clearly no, why should it be fine for all of us to quit one job/employer but when a footballer does it it's the greatest sin of all time and makes them a mercenary... a term which applies to most of the population. I know people will say its ok for us because the average person makes a fraction of what a footballer does and that a footballer should be content with 30k a week or whatever.... but doubling/trippling your wages is going to appeal to anyone, rich or not. He's also not an Evertonian and therefore has no connection to the club other than being an employee.

Still, I'm fuming so i've got no time for rational thought.

Sack him off the transfer requesting, bowl haircutted melt.

What I meant was the despair that filled supporters after those legends left. Stones is no legend, true, but he could have become one if he had stayed. Money speaks these days, though, and our board are mutes.
