19 year old centre back with potentially 15 years off football ahead of him and they quote £12m lol

I wouldn't even accept £30m for him. He'll be our and England's captain for years to come, I'm certain of it. £40m and I suppose we'd probably have to listen, though I genuinely wouldn't sell him for any amount.

In fact he's probably the only player in our squad I wouldn't sell for any price.

Stones, Barkley and McCarthy i wouldn't sell for anything, Mirrales brings the snide and will to win to the team we need as well so would stick such a price on him that effectively he would be unsellable too, same with Coleman, everyone else is replaceable and sellable for the right amount, including Baines & Jags

Agree! Bobby will want to keep Barkley, stones, macca and Seamus as the core of a young team to build around. Selling any one of them would be a big step backwards

behave mate a CB will never be as vital as a CAM who is capable of been as good as gazza.

both are potentially world class but Barkley will always be more valuable simply for what he offers going foward which as we all know looking at Liverpool having boss attackers can make up for a not so good defence

Jags is probably the last player in the squad we should sell at the moment, aside from the fact that he is quality in his own right, the benefit that stones will get playing alongside him for the next 4 years will be invaluable

How many boss 19 year old centre backs are there in the world? 2.

And how many boss young attacking midfielders are there in the world. Tons.

....CB might not have the same glitz and glamour, but its vital and this kid looks more than a bit special. I wouldn't be comparing the valuation of one against the other, I'm just delighted we have them both.

Who's the second haha? Doria?. Plenty of boss cams but barkley is unique mate, no an oscar, mata, yeah there's plenty of those, but Barkley could be as good as yaya or better if not and you don't get plenty of yaya's in the world, just one
