For the record Premier League games don't count, different competition, so the three game ban has to be served in European competition effectively ruling out Stones until the quarter finals, should we make it.

This last man stuff is all rather distracting isn't it, doesn't it just boil down to whether it was a goal scoring oppo or not? It was. Just imagine how enraged we would be if our attacker was in the same position and a yellow given.

Im hoping this will be a 'blessing in disguise' for young John. Its not the first time he has over played the ball - he did it in the first half- and gets away with it. If he learns from this mistake and realise sometimes you have to put it in row Z, he will become a better player than he already is.
