We were told £3m/£3.5m plus it was heavily implied there was a big sell on clause. That has gradually scaled back to £2.2m and probably no clause.

That centre forward was their best player - Stones over played the ball on more thAn one occasion - the birdman gave us safety in headed balls out - Since TimHoward has came back - he does not help the defence were Robles commands his box helping all of the defence out!
Stones will learn from his mistake last night , and it was not costly!

Stones becoming a great player and will continue to make mistakes until he is the best. Part of learning. He has only had a season of experience as a CB and is already one of the best CBs in the league. Give it a few more seasons and he will be the best at the rate he is going.

Lad is the best player in the team, should not even be getting questioned. Howard Fistin and Jagielka used to make more mistakes in one game than he will all season. The English media constantly bemoaning the dearth of young English talent seem to like nothing more than making out that Stones and Barkley are overhyped and make mistake after mistake all the time. Give it a few years and these two will be running the national team.

3 game ban would be extremely harsh in a cup compitition. Surely it's a 1 match ban only.
