John Stones

If he is as good as we think he is, then he will be playing at the Euros next summer and his value will sky rocket!

I think he will go next summer probably for jags
But I'm not sure he will play no matter how good a season he has

The media basically get Cahill in the team
He had smalling at Fulham
And seems to love jones

The stupid stories about Chelsea and Man U going after him are so full of crap - no way we'd rate Stones at 15 million. What ridiculousness.

The idea of forcing teams to have a certain number of home grown players was brought in to try to get teams to promote players from their own Academies.

Very rich clubs purchasing home grown players from other clubs just to fulfill the quota is a disgrace and makes a mockery of the rule.

It's about time this loophole was closed.

If Stones went to Chelsea right now (not that he will, but if he did), he'd be sitting on their bench at best, because they aren't getting rid of Terry and Cahill yet. How will that help him develop as a player?

Reality is, if Chelsea or Manchester United come calling he will probably be off.

Champions League football, a massive pay rise and a bigger chance to win trophies. Plus, with him being a United fan its probably his dream to play for them.

Dunno about Utd, don't see Chelsea though. He'd benchwarm at Chelsea. He's a clever lad; he's playing every week at Everton and with Euro 2016 next year, he'll want to get into the full squad.

His temperament and mindset is similar to Baines, very grounded. Baines didn't agitate for a move and I doubt Stones would either. It all comes down to big money. Everyone knows English talent has a premium price (look at LFC/Sterling) and it's whether or not Utd would pay the £30m+ at least it would take to sign Stones.

He also has 3 years left on his contract, which is fairly significant in terms of finances involved.

Can't see it myself.

It would be United or City that would come in for him if its anyone from England tbh - Chelsea have Cahill, Bouma, the racist and Kalas already, all of which fit the Mou centre back profile better than Stones does.

Next summer I think will be the one he leaves, after Euro's.

I honestly don't see Stones leaving anytime soon compared to say a Lukaku (well that's more of his agent) or a Barkley (well, 2013-2014's Ross) - Stones seems much more grounded and dare I say loyal. Of course I could be wrong and look like a fool when we lose him. But if we do, it better be for at least 30 million!

Hes going nowhere. Same as lukaku. They're on nice long contracts so if they move we will be making a massive profit on them. He's the best young English cb around if he goes it will be for massive money, more than Rooney I'd wager

Yeah, I'd agree with that. Especially if he was in the full squad for the Euro 2016 tournament.

He'd have 2 years left on his deal, and that's usually time for either a new contract or moving someone on for decent money.

He's going nowhere this Summer, next Summer is the worrying one.

Ill be very surprised if John Terry plays on after next Season and Stones will have had another season of experience.

If we sell for a penny under £35m then im done.

Next summer could be crazy. All the players will want to perform well this season, so that they get a place in the Euros. Then if they perform well in the Euros, we could end up with a lot of interest with high bids for the likes of Stones, Lukaku and possibly even Barkley. Losing the Players will be bad but the compensation will be HUGE!
