Unless someone wants to break the transfer record for a defender then he's going nowhere this summer. The lad isn't going to agitate for a move either.
He is a good lad and his family are sound as well. He's not your usual footballerFrom his interviews he seems like a good lad with his head screwed on.
Stay with us and be a certain starter is the sensible decision for this season. If we have another crap season he will be off next summer and who could blame him.
Best talent at Everton, that's for sure.
From what I've heard of Stones he seems like a grounded and down to earth guy - I can't seem him leaving us, well at least not yet. Leaving us for Chelsea or United right now is not a good step for his career. There's no way he'd play week in week out at either of those two clubs and also he'd be under a whole lot more pressure. IMO, he should stay with us until the end of his contract and then go from there.
If everything I just said turns out to be wrong and he wants to go, we need to get at least £35M for him, he is different class and will no doubt be England captain in years to come. If he does go I'll need a new heart as well!

So if another club ring up his agent and say they'll double his wages....you think he'll say no way, I'm happy at Everton?....
Kid's only human.....and there's never any guarantee in football that a lucrative 5 year deal that you turn down this year, will still be on the table next year....
These last couple of pages of posts are like stepping back in time, to just before you stole him from us, on our message board, most of our fans were saying stuff like he shouldn't go for a penny under £5million, and if he dose I'm done with the club, some were saying he'd give us until the summer, or maybe 18 months, because he's a Barnsley lad and he seems loyal, and he'd only warm the bench in the premier league, we ended up having our pants pulled down, and £2.2 million, Thankfully unlike our board yours seems to know his true value, so with the sell on clause of around 10% we'll end up with something like what he was really worth when you signed him.

The idea of forcing teams to have a certain number of home grown players was brought in to try to get teams to promote players from their own Academies.
Very rich clubs purchasing home grown players from other clubs just to fulfill the quota is a disgrace and makes a mockery of the rule.
It's about time this loophole was closed.
If Stones went to Chelsea right now (not that he will, but if he did), he'd be sitting on their bench at best, because they aren't getting rid of Terry and Cahill yet. How will that help him develop as a player?
You must be pretty shocked at how good hes become tho mate, I mean im sure you had very hopes for the lad, but he hasnt just come into the league and fitted in, at times hes been the best player on the pitch, at 20 years old.
Do you watch him much.
