Too big a game for me, prefer a more solid pairing . Joel coming back in will help though
If Stones is drops mate the story becomes much bigger and over-blown. Will do nobody any good.

He was fantastic from his return in October time after that injury right up until Xmas, where he had a bit of a blip.
Looked to be back to his best and then struggled a bit vs Chelsea and had a shocker today.
We're still a better team with him in it.
I say it again and again. We've got one of the best youngsters in Europe on our books, and after a few shaky performances, in which he has had zero to very little help from the experienced players alongside him (Barry, Jagielka, Howard) fans are slating him and want to get rid.
When he's playing in a CL final for Barca or City or Real, I hope you'll all be happy.
I dont think the poor GK is all the story. He's just completely bad in the 18 yard box. Hopeless in the air, goes to ground at every opportunity, gives needless pens away. I mean, it's not even close his level of ability for the job required.
I honestly feel like whatever he gets told he's going to play whatever way he wants to. To me at times he plays well enough to stay in the team but that's it. He has shown he's prone to big big errors with reaching on pens and possible pens given/not given along with stupid decisions on trying to draw the other team to press higher up and play around them but whenever I see him after these incidents he goes through the motions of kind of looking upset but to me I can't see anything in him that indicates he actually cares about anything but his summer move. The fact that Martinez won't instruct Stones to cut out the showboating is a damning indictment of his managerial skills for me. And it means that he has to shoulder a lot of the blame for the amount of goals conceded.
It's also causing Stones' valuation to drop which will cost the club much needed income when he decides to go this summer.
can we still say this sort of stuff Sagey?Funes and jags don't 'ponce' around with the ball
What a change in some people's opinions in a mere 6 months
Great pass to seamus for his chance as wellHe's going through a tough spell at the moment, it's easy to say that he's distracted by the hype but he's still very much learning and this could just be that. He's under pressure and questions are being asked about him for the first time in his career - it's quite similar to Barkley last year. I don't think John's confidence is quite as fragile as Ross's so hopefully he'll bounce back, he shouldn't be above being taken out of the side for a bit though. He is just a football player just like all the others.
Personally think the transfer request has played a large part that perception, think a lot of it is a player just going through his first run of poor form. Not down to talent but attitude. Imo.
