Stones has made less mistakes away from home, no wonder players are making mistakes by far the worst home support, booing and jeering every time someone turns back or loses the ball the players have already said about not liking playing at home, we will lose all of them, the likes of Barkley what do you want him to do pick up the ball take 8 men on and score proper joke if your going to go boo all game go to a liverpool game? can see the players playing with nerves!

He is so young. So talented but needs to learn. But with the big money we could get. I may be tempted. As long as we spend it. If we did that would move us up to the next level. I hate us being a selling club. But you are talking big money. Same goes for Ross. No way would I sell Lukaku though. Goalscorers are really hard to replace. Remember everyone I said as long as we spend the cash.

Think the crowd having a go at him the other week had an effect on him and could be partly to blame for the backpass. If the crowd never had a go at him, he might have tried to turn away and play it out instead.

I was trying last night to remember if I'd seen Stones do a Jags and just hoof it out when under pressure and i can't remember him ever doing it.

He under hit it, it was costly, although Howard didn't have to stand there and wait for it to come to him, if he'd moved towards it seeing as Ayew was coming for it then there was no problem.

For me mate the fact Howard actually took a step or two back once the pass was played to him was the most comedic moment i have ever seen from him, he seriously didn't see Ayew until he was about 5 yards away from the ball, that alone is alarming.

Didn't notice it at the time but on re-watching it is up there with the worst he has ever done cock up wise

The lad needs dropping and taking out of the firing line for a bit, let Jags and Mori strike up a partnership, Least we will have a more organised defence with Jags in!! Stones' head is all over the place at the minute

His head is not all over the place. He is actually a very clever lad. Rumours have not affected his game. It is his over confidence that is wrong.

He took a step or two back because he was setting up to hoof it but christ if he didn't see Ayew he needs his eyes testing, I think he thought he had a lot more time than he actually did, he saw Ayew and thought he had it covered, very poor judgement from him and we can say that about Howard time and time again this season.

I'd cash in and buy a couple of decent centre backs, Stones offers nothing that we couldn't get from the likes of Ashley Williams. The definition of overhyped English 'talent'

watch it again mate, he only moves when ayew is about 5 yards away, i am almost certain he didnt see him until then, hence why he suddenly lurches and tries to hoof it

btw how the hell did he not get booked or sent off for that?

Mate when he's playing he looks lost at the minute, not knowing what he should do, I'm not saying his head has been turned by rumours, just he needs a break to get himself together, the partnership with Mori isn't working as neither of them are organisers and on merit Mori has been the better of the two. Also his distribution when he is up the pitch is shocking!! The amount of times he gives the ball away is staggering

Stones messed up with the pass, no doubt about it. But as you said, Howard is as much at fault. Terrible performance yet again.

Even for the second goal, he pretty much ducks under the ball - even though I appreciate it was a nasty deflection.

No, he looks fine.

The only people panicking were the crowd mate. He dawdled in possession too long at times, yes, but the movement ahead of him in the first half was diabolical.

It's no surprise that when we upped the ante after the break that he looked back to near his best - that pass to Coleman was simply sublime.

He didn't need to turn away, he was facing up the pitch and had the ball on his right side so he had the chance to clear it, but then he moved inside and logic failed him and he tried to pass it to the clown in goal.
