Not sure hes arsed what you think David, hes got scouts from every single top, top club in Europe watching him and in the Summer, every top, top, top Club in the world will bid for his services, so yeah David, he doesnt care mate.

Think it's partly him buying into his own hype and partly the mentality Martinez instills. We're a soft team. No way around it.

IMO, he's one of those players stuck between two stools: not a CB you'd completely trust; not a centre midfielder who you'd say would either be box to box or who can just sit in front of a back four providing a blanket.

He's a conundrum for me. He has to (or someone has to) figure out a way forward. Top Euro clubs and his national side might like him, but I bet they dont know what to fully make of him atm.

Hes without question the finest CB of his generation.

I'm no fan of Howard's, but that back pass was right out of League Two. His judgement is woeful at times. Laconic and lacking urgency. These aren't League Two strikers he's dealing with now.

And it isn't a blip either. His positional awareness has always been suspect and his habit of going to ground is from the Dog and Duck training manual.

Needs a coach to get that side of the game sorted.

Needs a bomb up his arse. He's been offhand and arrogant on the ball because everyone keeps telling him his Pique. He's not. He's had a good season in the PL and now he's being found out in games. His attitude is poor and he has it all to prove that he's a defender worthy of the name. I don't think he is.
