For £50 million, I wouldnt want him to. Nice lad, Confident player, Bought him for a fiver. A cb that still obviously still needs alot of coaching can do his growing and mistake making at city or united, They can afford the luxury, we have proven this season......we cant.

Why do you want to sell our best players?

If stones does go, which is no guarantee but is likely, I won't be happy to see it happen at all, even if we do get ridiculous money for him. I want to see us keep our best young players and keep building, if possible.

We complain about being a selling club, then want to flog England's best young defender as soon as he hits a sticky patch of form.

A mate told me he has recently bought Ashley Young's house from him in Hale. The attention from Chelsea, City and United seems to have got into his head. If they offer close to £50m in summer I cant see him staying.

He moved out of his flat in Widness in the summer mate. It's really not uncommon for a footballer to buy a new house...

Barry, Cleverley, (now Niasse), Jagielka etc all live over Manchester way. Pretty sure Rom does as well actually...

NO MATE, HES BOUGHT A HOUSE, THATS IT, ATTENTION GONE RIGHT TO HIS HEAD, WHO DOES HE THINK HE IS BUYING A HOUSE? DIXIE DIDNT BUY A HOUSE, HE USED TO LIVE WITH HIS PARENTS ON LAIRD STREET RIGHT NEXT TO MY NANS, EVERYDAY HE WOULD JOG DOWN TO THE FERRY FOR TRAINING.

UTTER JOKE JOHN STONES, BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Agreed, why bother signing players u21 with enormous potential and develop them as a group suffering short term results for long term success and then WANT to sell them?

Barca had Xavi Iniesta and Messi come through together as well as Busquets etc...all through their academy with years playing together.

We are buying in these players like Stones and adding them into what the u21s produce like Barkley and will see the effects of their development together over time.

We should want to keep them ALL but of course if one does end up leaving Martinez should replace them with 2 more players u21 with similar potential levels.

Was told at game last night that stones and Howard had a bust up in dressing room after Swansea game and had to be separated by other players and there was still ill feeling in training and it was more stones than Howard not getting over it ... The lad works at finch farm who sits by me and is always talking to club staff when players warming up so I think he is being honest

Heard the same lad, Howard was running his mouth for ages afterwards and Ross just walked up to him and dropped him with a left, there was claret all over his beard when he woke up.

My mates Aunties Uncles Cousin walks Geris dog on matchdays and supports Millwall so see no reason why he would make it up.
