I know mate, but then there are games like Chelsea away and WH where he doesn't attack the ball at all.
Good player, I'm not disputing that, I just am yet to totally believe he is the answer long term.
My view should be tempered though with the fact that the intensity of the English game means he can't switch off for even a second. He's probably not used to that, absolutely.

Let me reiterate. I like him. A lot. I just wouldn't mind another "stopper" defender to go into the mix.
Think it's just harsh picking up on really just the 2 or 3 times he has been beaten in the air that cost us, fact is he's the only one who really shows the aggression and will attack the ball, first year in the league and still statistically been our third best performer in the league, not bad going

I think Mori will improve again and next season he wont be dislodged at LCB. Its been said all his career that he continuously improves.

Then of course its currently between Jags and Stones at RCB. However, lets say we went with Stones as first choice next season...thats our captain benched (i think hed accept it for the good of the team)..the other way around and i dont think Stones would be too thrilled

Then add in an international top notch centre back and theres going to be 2 disappointed players.

Lets say hypotheticallly we went and signed Varane (lol) just as an example...hed expect to be in the starting line up as would Stones as would jags as would mori....

The nature of the positon would mean a settled 2 CBs...in this case how to keep all of them happy?

Stones would be an amazing midfielder as long as he can adjust to the position in terms of positioning. He's great in the tackle, great range of passing and technically gifted on the ball.

Well.. Everton saved the lads career by holding onto him in the summer I reckon. If he went to Chelsea and his arrival conincided with a drop in form like this... everyone would've said he wasn't capable of playing at a 'top club'. Would've been at severe risk of taking a Joleon Lescott type road...

Winning heaps of trophies and being a regular England player? Not a bad path like.
