Exactly. I'm sick and tired of my mates who support other teams asking me, why we concede so many goals when we have a defence full of internationals. I just tell them to look no further than our dugout. He couldn't get Wigan to defend and now he can't set up a defence made of internationals to defend either.
Have exactly the same problem with the same questions - you see rom scoring wonder goals and then we let in stupid goals because of bad organisation ... Heartbreaking !!

Come on, he's 22 - that is nowhere near "extremaly young". That might be said about the 17 or 18 year old footballer.

keepers and centre backs develop at a later age, virtually anyone who knows anything about football knows this. Most people are still in education at 21, it's still a very young age in every day life, nevermind the pressure these footballers are under.

Good point ! Let's all pray he won't die from heart attack because of that stress and pressure he must face

I'm genuinely erring towards the defensive midfielder side tbh. The ball through to Rose in the build up to the goal, that lovely pass through to Walcott in the second half, his rangey saunters through the midfield, they're what we all like so much about Stones. The bits we have the biggest issues/concerns with are deeply in the defensive area: his suspect last-ditch tackles, his heart-in-mouth ball-chewing in front of goal.

He could easily be a Viera or Yaya Toure (albeit of a more slight build).

Exactly. Those that know etc......

He slipped.

It could happen to anyone.

If it happened to Alli would the media still be gushing from their orifices with praise for him? Yes. But it's Stones, so let's all get on the hate train for the best ball-playing centre back England will ever see. Knock his confidence down even more, that's what he needs.

Utter bellends, every single person who criticises him after this game.
