John Stones

Stones will show how a good a player he is in the Euro's, and then he'll be sold for 50m. So will Rom. I thnk this summer, we will be losing
Stones, Rom, McCarthy, and Mirallas. So then we have to spend big bucks just to get the squad to what it was, and then big bucks more to improve it

And the media are talking Eddie Howe or Mark Hughes who can do that job??!?! Just friggin laughable

McCarthy will not be going anywhere. Whether Martinez is here or not.

And don't believe Hughes or Howe for a second. We'll go for better targets.

I quite liked it when he went from being a centre half, into a midfielder, and then a winger in about 20 seconds.

.
Until he lost the ball and had to chase back. Think Gibsons done well covering when stones steps up, they work well together

He'll only be going nowhere because no one will take on his wages, we're stuck with the ginger fraud for years

He's had a poor season, bar the spell of about a month before his injury at Bournemouth. He was ace in those games, and I think that included when he played for Ireland against Germany as well and was superb.

Getting McCarthy back to his best (or the form of his first season and a good chunk of last year), will only improve us as a side.

Anyway, Stones is boss. Glad he's shoved it in all the doubters' faces.

Got to agree with this comment. Having Gibson there has allowed a bit of freedom for Stones to bring the ball out- bit like Rio Ferdinand.

Wasn't he on about in the second half when Stones took it from defence to their corner flag then played a one-two with Lennon, then it got switched to the other side?

Agree on Gibbo though. Think he compliments Stones well in that he will sit deep and be disciplined.

Hes been wank for 2 years, even in his first good year which looks an anomaly, he was still limited. Needs replacing.

Boy stones doing good though

Probably, i was thinking of another one in first half

He had to get back on track quickly with the euros coming up, probably will be going after them, don't believe Martinez has said Stones and Lukaku can be easily replaced, young, quality players are thin on the ground.Don't want to lose them but resigned to doing so.

That is why it's imperative a high profile manager is brought in ASAP and not a moment before. His first job....easier said then done, to get rom, stones and Barkley to commit themselves to the club.

Form is temporary, class is permanent. John stones would absolutely flourish under a mourinho or low type manager. Come to think of ALL our players would flourish under managers of that ilk. You only have to look over the park what klopp has done with Sakho and lovern.

The one taking fat burners to mask performance-enhancing steroids... good example mate ;)

Let's hope the whole team are taking them and theirs me thinking it was down to klopp, their improvement. A six month ban for the whole Liverpool team?

Mate, they're not all that.

Klopp's a good manager, no doubt about it. However, he's doing no better league-wise than Rodgers would have done.

He's slowly getting back to his best I think. Let's hope Manuel get's the best out of him lol
