Played really well last couple of games. Maybe the pressure is off him in the knowledge he'll be playing for a different manager next season...

Edit: Obviously meant a new Everton manager...

fat burners are often used (in the case of athletes) to mask other drugs in the system, as they flush out said drugs when they kick-in. So, I suppose to say he 'definitely' took them to mask other drugs is a step too far, though it seems very likely.

However, that being said, there would be little evidence of other drugs due to the presence of the fat burners, for the reason I stated above

Nice of Kolo Toure to step up as a senior player and advise the (relative) youngsters at Analfield. Fat burners lol
 

On topic though, it is good to see Darron allowing John the freedom to play a bit.

Personally I would play a 5 3 2 though and let John play as a sweeper.
 
Blame whoever but face it , he's clearly not the player you all want him to be, . He can play and he is a footballer, but he's never a central defender as he just cannot do the basics and they can't be coached into him , actually shocking !
 
People said exactly the same about Rio Ferdinand at a similar pint in his career.

Stones is exceptional and I pity anyone who can't see that.

He is broken right now and he really does need to learn how to head a ball when defending.

He need rebuilding, confidence shattered, strain relationship with the fans. Hate playing for us.

He gone this summer and I don't blame him
