Stones has been managed by a half-wit. If there is no solidity in midfield there is little the defence can do. Our midfield was Barry. The way it was set up was pathetic. Stones has a lot more to give. Lukaku, in my opinion will not get better because he is limited in his skills.

And who is that top Manager you are expecting to entice them with? I think he is about to sign at Man Utd ;)

Probably not quite as good as Lukaku, but possibly someone a little more committed.

We can happily attract a central defender of better CURRENT quality than Stones. Possibly not in terms of potential, but JS is miles from the finished article (thanks in large part to Martinez's woeful mismanagement)

Yeah, he does look like he hates it here tbf. Martienz and the fans have destroyed his confidence.

I hope the new manager can keep hold of him as he got everything to be a top class defender but the fans have to learn to put up with playing out of the back and the mistakes that come with it. Like he said calm down.
