Life isnt that black and white, some of the 'fans' behaviour certainly won't have helped, that altercation at services where we was crying for example. I can see a host of other elements thought that will have impacted on him and his performances, as mentioned in other post.

Stones can defend but Martinez shredded his confidence and didn't help him improve. He looked a lot better with just one game under Unsworth! If we get a top manager and we can persuade him to stay he'll come on in leaps and bounds.
 
I hope he gets a game at the Euros. It'd be interesting to see how he does under real pressure, up against one of the better sides in the competition.

He looks as though he'd be better off playing for a team that generally dominates, but I also think he's in danger of gaining a reputation as an accident waiting to happen, which could ruin his chances of getting a big move.

I wouldn't like to be the one who decides when the time is right to cash in on players.
 
The speculation can only start when we get a manager . Nothing will happen of significance until then unless someone puts up a 65million bid for Rom which unless it's PSG is unlikely . If he goes so be it as I think there is better value out there for that money . Ross and Stones were not helped at all by Martinez and I think would both be better to stay and show they can do it again as I think both are way of showing there full potential . Like Mata and would take him but again our manager choice could be significant as to who else we may attract to the club ... Think Shane long could do well at Everton and also think we need a Shawcross or Ashley williams type of no nonsense defender.. Things are going to start to look a lot better very soon and I also firmly believe there is more investment to come through Mr Moshris associates - exciting times !

Maybe the boy will actually think about his everton future, at least for another season, seeing as it looks a sure thing he will be managed by one of the greatest defenders of all time. Ron can make stones an absolute baller, not that he isn't already. I feel Funes Mori will also benefit massively from a manager like Ron.
