Ideally, JS, RB and RL return from the Euros to sit down and talk calmly and sensibly with RK.
Then all three agree that Everton is the best place for them to be right now.

All the sycophantic media can be piped right down in their desperate clamour to see one or all of them move to City, Chelski or Manure... and we can continue to enjoy the Moshiri revolution that seems to me to gathering pace quite nicely.

As per @The Esk 's note on FFP, I think at least one of them will have to go.

Unfortunately this is increasing likely to be Stones for ~£45m but this will allow Everton and the new board to work their wider magic

The thing is though mate... if RK has been told that he's got up to £100 million available as a transfer budget, spending a lot or all of that would surely put us in trouble on FFP, whether we were to sell JS or not?

I would think that there are moves afoot to secure some/all of the additional non-TV related revenue needed to prevent the need to sell.

Mr.Moshiri doesn't strike me as the type of overlord who's going to allow his vision and dreams to be hampered for the £30-40 million that the Esk has suggested is needed.

Keep the faith... Onwards... ;)

Disagree entirely on the final point.

Moshiri is extremely wealthy but not in the PSG / City bracket of "writing off" £30-40m in fines. It's an utterly ridiculous approach.

If selling a £40m player allows you much greater wriggle room without incurring a fine, why wouldn't you do it? Stones has never withdrawn his transfer request, he is a great player and I'd rather we had sold Lukaku instead. Or even better, sell McCarthy, Kone, Funes Mori and get to the tipping point that way. But you can only sell the players that other clubs want!

The only thing worrying me Andy is that @The Esk says we need to do some clever accounting before we can bring in more big names and to keep on the right side of FPP then euther John or Rom have to be moved on at a big profit :(

You've taken me slightly wrong mate.

I wasn't suggesting for a second that Mr.Moshiri would in effect 'write-off' £30-40 million, far, far from it in fact.

I'm suggesting that it would not surprise me if he and his staff aren't working very hard to secure additional non-tv related revenue streams to enable us not to have to sell in order to comply with FFP.

That's correct mate. I estimate we need to find an additional £35-40 million in non broadcasting revenues in financial year 2016/17 if we do not make a player trading profit.

Possibility?

Yes I'll go into more detail later in the week.

I get that entirely Khal, but with what he's done so far and the strong intimations as to what else is already under serious consideration and indeed negotiation, then for the time being at least, I personally remain confident that we'll only sell who we want to sell.

Now as @orly suggested, if we could secure or entice bids in order to sell say... Kone, McGeady and anybody else that RK deems as surplus to requirements and in order to allow us to recruit who he wants to improve the squad, then with some additional non-tv related revenue, things might not be quite so hairy on the FFP front.

And given the strong indications/rumours of a supa-dupa shiny new gin palace on the riverfront, it would, to my mind, make reasonable sense for companies interested in commercial activities with Everton that they get on board the Moshiri revolution sooner rather than later :);)

Not wearing blue tinted specs but Stones is far superior to either of the two English centre half's yesterday, Smalling has the passing ability of Stevie Wonder and constantly has his arms around attackers whilst Cahill his just average. Stones makes mistakes and has a lot to learn but has far more ability than them two clowns.

I don't think selling the Kones or McGeadys helps, Andy.

If I am reading what @The Esk says correctly, one of either Stones or Lukaku would need to go because their sale would go down in the books as a massive football related profit.

We wouldn't make two Bob on Kone and McGeady :(

In other words, it is not wages off the pay roll we need, it is a thumping, verifiable trading profit.

Leastways I think that is what I am reading.

Esk is saying it's possible we may raise that money in revenue without player sales. He will expand this week.

The quickest and easiest way is via a single high profile departure. If Stones is as far along in a deal as has been suggested in some places that is everything solved.

As I've said in a previous post, the one thing I wouldn't anticipate happening is us just taking the medicine of a fine for no reason. Not sure why you copied me into that chain of messages, that's for vaulting purposes only
