John Stones

Yep, time to go now, we'll never get more than £50m for him on the further. Wales and Leicester have proven that having players playing for the badge over having skilled individuals looking for moves is the way forward.

He wants to go, he's not difficult to replace in terms if what he has actually brought to the team (not counting potential), so let's get it done, but agree terms for another defender BEFORE we sell him.

Koeman has got a proven record of building a superb defence with defenders with half the ability of Stones.

Yes we (the fans) want him to stay, but he is being touted as the club are happy for him to go for both footballing and financial reasons.

Koeman doesnt need Stones to build a good defence, whereas I could argue that Stones could do with Koeman to help him. But it is what it is, he wants City/Guardiola and he will go.

Fifty million is fantastic business for us.

He didn't have Jags and Baines alongside him in the England to help him prevent having his head turned.

If Pep wants to turn Man City into the Barcelona of the Prem he might have a rude shock or two ahead.

Esk said this was the case last week. Personally I wouldn't have a problem with selling him for £50m, that's insane money for him.

It's a shame we can't build the team around him as he's potentially the calibre of player we will be looking to attract and will be spending huge amounts of money on in the future. He'll probably become a fan favourite at City, with the right management, as he's an amazing player to watch.

£50m is good money though. Given our apparent need to sell for player trading income and his desire to leave, it suits everyone to sell him. Hopefully it means we can put everything into keeping Lukaku now.
