Be sorry to see him go but the fee we get will certainly soften the blow. We will not get a defender like him striding out of defence with elegance playing lovely football but we will get someone that will defend as good if not better than him. Stones will be a complete CB in a couple of years but if he doesn't improve his nitty gritty defensive side I have no doubt pep would push him forward into DM

I would hope John isn't that sort of person, but you never know.
