John Stones

Hate to say it, but the sooner this is all cleared up and put to bed the better.

John Stones could and should have been great for us for many years, but no one player is bigger than the club and it'll be up to Koeman, Walsh and indeed Moshiri to prove this in no uncertain terms.

We need a top goalie, a top centre-back, a top midfielder and a top striker... and that's the minimum to get us back to a chance of challenging for a cup and European places.

To win the title in a few years will take a whole lot more !!!

I expect if Stones has gone at least £100m to be spent by us this week. The club had better start pulling up some trees in the transfer market.

We'll get two of the above imo, absolutely nowhere near what is needed. Going into the season with Jags, Mori and a new CB as our options. Essentially, we're much weaker regardless of who Stones' replacement is, then are waiting on reinforcements to arrive, if they ever do.

to save having to pay Barnsley 15% of the fee (and because we apparently are now ok for money) why don't we say Stones for Hart, Bony & Nasri?

I just put Radio Merseyside on to see if theres any news on this only to be greeted too "Road to Nowhere" - Talking Heads

Spooky!!
