Sure he probably would be happy if they accepted, but he also knows they don't want to do that. But if they have offered him a bit of a lowball for his shares (as was reported) it maybe helps him establish a fair price they should offer him- if they reject x for their own shares he can say that's at least a fair price for his. So it either gets accepted (unlikely) or it helps him establish his valuation.Doubtful. He's made it clear he wants full control of a club, he's been trying to gain control of Palace. This just might be the last try before he moves on to something else.
It probably does mean that the Textor-Moshiri deal isn't as close as thought.
