It's not like we're going to play him enough to develop him into more than a 7 million pound player.

That means that if we're keeping him on the books, he has to be loaned to a lesser club. Even if he has a breakthrough there, what are you talking about in this market from them? 15 million? And that assumes a breakthrough.

Walking away at this point for a reasonable price is wise.

Dunno with this 7 mil figure has came from but we're just gonna have to take it.

For whatever reason a Liverpool nomark destined to be a journey man on a gradual slide down the leagues comes at a minimum of 15-20 mil these days while we'll struggle to get 50p for ours.

Hope he gets his move, we could do with funds towards a long term RB and Kenny is getting too old to be playing barely any games and being lucky to be on the bench.

I'd love more than £7m but just don't think we'll get it. We only got £2m for Dowell remember.
Wolves took on a lad last night Ki Kana Hoover or something, they paid 9m to Liverpool and i honesty vaguely heard his name a few times before. Kenny has a year's experience in the Bundesliga and some experience in the Everton first team, we should be at least getting £15m for him.

I would have thought so anyway

Unfortunately that’s the way
It is. You’d think these team will eventually learn buying from Liverpool.

When Bournemouth bought IBe they also
Bought a full back, I think his name was Brad smith, he’s hardly played for Liverpool. Probably played a coupe of times in the league cup. And they got 6mil for him.

Also I think the media always
Like to say the top figure when it comes to Liverpool, like 23mil for Brewster. Probably more like 15 with loads of add on. Probably the same with the kid at wolves last night

It's not really true this. They've had the likes of Solanke and Ibe that everyone always talks about but there's loads of others still on their books that they can't get rid of (Woodburn, Ojo, Wilson etc) and Ejaria who was another of that England under 20 team went for about the same as Dowell. The fact is though, it's a lot easier to big up a player with a handful of appearances for a team that's won the CL and PL in the last couple of years than it is to big up someone who's been getting the odd chasing for a team in midtable. Breaking in to our team is (theoretically at least) a lot easier than breaking in to theirs, so it stands to reason that they have players who aren't going to break through ahead of Salah, Mane etc but are still pretty good in their own right.

Unfortunately for John Joe Kenny, he has'nt taken the opportunity to kick on, despite having a good season with Schalke last year so if not in plans for 1st team spot needs to be moved on and as academy lad will look good on paper regarding FFP whenever it kicks in again ! Its sad Coleman who has really dropped levels is still above him in order and Holgate so move him on for both ours and his good

That lad was part of the Jota deal.

Ben Godfrey cost £20m.

You think someone is paying £15m for JonJoe Kenny????
