Would think Ashley Cole has some input on this too, reckon he has some expertise in defending, if he is in agreement to extend which is very likely can't see what all the moaning is about.

I don’t know mate, I’ve been hearing that ‘manager knows best’ line for a succession of managers now and we’ve ended up with a diabolical squad at the end of it.

Think it’s clear the manager backed the lid mate, he put his confidence in him and played him. He sees something. I don’t personally, the lad gives me the hebee jeebies when he plays.

But I’m all in on this manager, we need to stop, just stop sacking mangers and put three years building and coherence in. If the manager wants him I’ll back that despite my own judgement. He costs us very little in the overall scheme.

It’s ok to disagree and have an option, especially since the experts at the club have brought us to the brink of relegation with their expert decisions

Its cute that people really think Kenny would only want 15k a week to stay.
Pretty standard for championship players…Which he basically is. This at least let’s him say he’s still a prem player. I don’t think he’d get a much better offer elsewhere. If he does, then go ahead and leave.

I find it quite amusing when I’m reading people say we’ll ‘move him on’ in a year that’s why we’ve offered 3 years. We’ve literally not been able to move on any squad players for any money for years, hence why we’re in this situation with the squad and ffp. I’d imagine he’ll see his career out here now.

The manager likes the lid and he has expierence working with some of the coaching team in the past.

El Ghazi will enter the final 12 months of his Villa contract at the end of the season and will be out to find a new club at the end of the season. Though, it remains unclear whether or not Everton will move for a permanent transfer as the club are perilously close to slipping out of the Premier League for the first time in their history.

Boss Lampard said of the winger: "I think he can offer, he’s a talented player. I know that from going up against him as a coach. It’s an area where we do have personnel. He has a slightly different skill set to anyone else in that area."

Here is also Lampard singing El Ghazis praises right before he never played him again.

He costs us games and points.

When it mattered Lampard left him on the bench and put Iwobi right back.

Maybe we’ve hired another yes man.
