The lad made the right decision, he's 25 now and he will never be good enough to hold down regular place in the premier league. Perhaps he could go back to Germany, he seemed to have played quite well when he was there on loan. I think it's the best decision for both the player and the club.

I think you’ve got that back to front, family members had to hear the abuse Jonjoe got off Everton fans (?) and one of those fans (?) didn’t know how lucky he was at Burnley when one of them was persuaded to walked away by his wife and not get involved.

Id say we offered him his current terms, 750k a year or slightly more.

Moving on he gets a signing on fee and probably a bigger wage being on a free then we offered, wouldn't be surprised to see him end up in Germany.
