he didnt played great, but he is a fantastic young player. having watched tonight it seemed he wasnt getting forward that much and stayed back quite a bit. i think he will end up being your first choice right back eventually.

Showed tonight that he's not ready to play week in, week out, and Koeman was right to get someone in. Still I'd be tempted to keep him in for Burnley, try and show confidence in him.

I think he got a bit disillusioned by making runs and finding space which would have been picked out in the U23s but which were ignored in the more conservative first team style of play. But no, he didn't have a game which would change anyone's mind.

The system and way of playing is dragging every player into pure shitness, don't care what anyone says we have squad full of good players! That's down to the manager, end of!

I just don't get why people were so desperate for this lad to play. The way he was spoke about on here I got the impression Koeman was stifling the career of the next Cafu.

As it turns out, he's just a kid who probably isn't anywhere ready to be starting games at this level.
