I’m sorry, but if a player knowingly puts himself at risk by running into a challenge he has no chance of winning, that is on him. It’s brave, but if the keeper wins the ball, he wins the appeal. Ings knew what he was doing. Pickford always was going to get there first.

No he didn't leave his foot in at all Dave, his foot certainly got caught in the shirt but that's not leaving the foot in.

I'd be absolutely bloody livid if he didn't do exactly the same challenge as that against Man City or Mansfield and I'd be bloody livid if a ref saw that as a foul so it was no surprise that the ref didn't see it as a red or yellow because the ref saw that Ings was never getting it and bottled out by turning his back.

Thats a red card if a ref doesn't do his job regardless of who we play. Ref does his job and its carry on as normal

Will people PLEASE realise he’s winding you up? One minute he’s saying it’s a deliberate foul that he could easily have avoided, the next he’s saying he had to foul him because he’s miscalculated. I have no issue with it but read what he says before you get all froth mouthed because it takes over the forum when everyone takes the bait in every thread!

We KNOW didn't we that Pickford can clear that without making contact? All he had to do was follow through in a normal angle and it was cleared without contact.
