Yeah don't understand the bother over this. People comparing it to Mane - not remotely comparable for the reason you state.

Still, anti-Everton media is hardly a surprise.
If mark Hughes didnt do his usual and moan, this would not even get a mention at all for me,as merson ect watching it on screen said zero about it,hughes doing his best to deflect defeat on to others

I believe that the only reason Pickford’s follow through sort of lingers longer than it should have is becomes his studs are momentarily caught in Ings shirt.

Making it look like it was more of an exaggerated follow through.

I still believe he meant to leave a bit on Ings just not that much.

Freedom of speech and opinion are one thing. That comparison is outrageous, disgusting and is frankly unacceptable to me as an Evertonian. Mods do what you like but I remember the 1982 WC clearly.
WTF, both went out to leave something on the oncoming player.

If Allison or whatever his name is did that in the derby there'd be murder on here. We all know it.

I've seen the video 3 times Dave, more than enough to know it was a fine challenge and if he didn't make it you and a whole host of Evertonians wpuld be calling him out for shirking the challenge
My argument is that his judgement was woeful rushing out (twice he's done that in two matches, so let's hope the GK coach has a word with him).

If Pickford wanted to he could have pulled that foot away in time before clattering Ings. There's just no way around it....or rather there was!

Behave mate. How's he supposed to kick it with zero follow through. Don't even know why I'm biting tbh.

Pickford should have followed through to Mark Hughes' head!

You're obviously bored tonight dave, not long to
wait for the 10 minute previews, I assume you're still stuck in the 90's......

Your assessment is spot on imo.....

I mean Dave has just compared what Pickford did, to what this fella did.

The German goalkeeper, Harald Schumacher, raced towards Battiston as the Frenchman took the shot, missing the goal. Schumacher leapt into the air, twisting his body and colliding with Battiston. In the process Schumacher's hip hit the Frenchman's face. Battiston, clattered, fell to the ground unconscious, with damaged vertebrae and teeth knocked out, later slipping into a coma. Emergency medics had to administer oxygen on the pitch.Michel Platini later said that he thought that Battiston was dead, because "he had no pulse and looked pale".

I mean you defo see how similar they are.

Is that Pickford? Why is the quality so bad?

Why do you even bother coming on this forum? Do you think you are more clever, more intelligent than everyone, quirky putting a different view?

TBH you are negative about everything Everton and make every thread boring for me and will no doubt stop me coming on this forum completely, as it does some days.

Your drab, miserable, negative, boring posts are the exact opposite of what Everton are trying to build.

Well we dont because there's no Pickford/Ings video to compare.

I wasn't saying they were exactly the same anyway...but you knew that.
