he isn't commanding half the time. Good shot stopper but it's a major flaw in his game. We need someone like Mina to dominate with this insane high line we play.

I’m not saying he should have stopped it, but do you think what he did was good goalkeeping? He might not have saved it by rushing out but it was virtually impossible to save by doing what he did.

He lets in an insane amount of goals. I know our defence is utter kack, but could Pickford be doing better? Without checking, I'd hazard him having about five clean sheets at most since the turn of the year. That's abysmal however you look at it.

I agree on the others, but at what point do we start to worry about a goalkeeper who has conceded an inordinate amount of goals whoever he’s played for?

He’s cost us more points than he’s saved us this year, that’s not ideal in my book.

I think Pickford is over-rated and Pope is easily his equal.

He's not just a great keeper, he's also a worldwide superstar after the WC (the only one we have) surely that's worth more than the few extra million we'd get for him.
People wanting Pickford sold, some still wanting us to build around Klassen. No wonder we're stuck in the old Everton mentality.

Really?

I get the blame for the second goal. And he should really have stepped to his right as soon as Yarmolenko had the ball there because everyone knew what would happen.

But on the first goal, Pickford is kind of caught in between. He looks like he's going to try and close down Arnautovic a bit, but then realises Yarmolenko is there. He tries to spread himself but it's a good finish.

It's a bit of a stretch to be blaming the goalkeeper when someone scores a tap in from six yards out, lad.
