Signed Courtois from a 'pub league' in Belgium to play for them. That would never fly here.
All about making the right signings. A 19 year of Courtois at that I might add.

Imagine the fume if we signed a 19 year old Belgium keeper from Genk to replace Pickford. All about making the right signings. A 19 year of Courtois at that I might add.

We have an odd bunch of fans: nobody is good enough to sign for us (or too good to sign for us), so we are constantly disappointed in transfer dealings, so we hate our players until they are 'too good for us' then tart them up for the shop window salivating at the prospect of selling to the highest bidder. As soon as they are sold and continue to be quality elsewhere we decide 'we sold too cheap'.
Everton have just got a thing for boss goalkeapers haven't we
Sir Jordan Pickford. Southall, Martyn , Steve Simonsen
Do you know who else was a fantastic tournament goalkeeper?
Tim Howard
Makes me laugh when people say that the shots were right at him* therefore they weren't really good saves.
Someone kicks a ball at me at 80mph and I tell you now I scream and do anything I can to avoid being hit in the face.
He still has to save it regardless of "ease". A save is a save in my book.
*Or any goalkeeper for that matter.
Don't want to come across all PC and I'm sure you meant no offence but I think he's a midget. There is a difference.Done alright for a dwarf.
I just so want England to meet Belgium in the final and for Courtois to make a real howler.
Laugh? I would nearly wet myself.
Barkley isn't anywhere near the quality of the others in the list.
Are the names on the Tw@taratti accounts things like, redman95, kloppkoplovein etc?Interesting, Delle Ali's goal is right at the keeper. He should save it but doesn't. Pickford saves one right at him and Twitter is full of people saying his saves are easy as they are right at him.
But how about the value of what you have?Everybody has a price.
But how about the value of what you have?
Silly offer, truly silly, maybe. But what if we allow ourselves the thought that a longterm plan with our new coach and dof is in place? I like to believe even they need a player or three at this point to prove a point. That this is a place to be, keeping hold of some our valuables must surely mean something? Our maybe I'm just naive in thinking this.I would hate to sell him. Hate selling any good player. But if a silly offer comes in you have to consider it. You would be foolish not to do so.

I get this of course, but we all have to start somewhere? Keeping the right players at the right time? We are not there yet,to pick and choose what players we keep or sell just to make up the nuances of the team? I'm not having a go at you tonight,it's just that I actually believe in the importance of keeping key players to keep some sort of momentumAtletico Madrid finished 7th the season they sold De Gea. The next three seasons they finished 5th, 3rd, and 1st in that order.
Everyone is for sale at every level of world football for the right price.
If De Gea goes to Real, and United come in with a silly bid, we would be foolish not to consider it.
