regardless of who you play shots on target and saved are no different if it's against Real Madrid or Notts County. By your judgement a save is only as good as the team you play. If Ronaldo played for real Madrid and Pickford saved then it's a good save yet if he played for Notts County then it wouldn't be as good.

Based of that logic, we should just find the best keeper from the worst league and sign him. He wouldnt do any worse against better teams, right?
If you really think saving a strike from a league 2 striker is just as difficult as saving a shot from Ronaldo, you cant be saved brother.

He won the player of the year and players player of the year, I'd say he was already pretty good like. or did I miss something.

He was mediocre through out the season, in a team struggeling a lot, which made him our best player last season. Being the best pice of crap in a bin of crap doesnt make you quality.

How did you work out that nonsense logic. A shot is a shot not all keepers can save certain shots if they are not good enough and not all players can get every shot on target but a shot on target going in the top corner is just that regardless of who shoots.

Tbh though I don't think there would be that much uproar about it. More to the contrary in fact, look at how the reports of us being linked with Tierney everyone seemed made up with that.

Pickford was good at times last season, but he always followed his successes with horrid mistakes. If thats a godlike keeper in your eyes, thats fine, I just think its silly pretending he’s the english Neuer, when he’s not even the best keeper in our league. He might be the 5th or 6th best, which in itself is fantastic for a young keeper. But he’s not on the level youre pushing, and he might never get there.

Everyone does seem pleased.

I haven't seen many people who aren't happy with us being linked with him. I know many people are taking the Mick about stuff like that. The only thing about the wages I've seen have originated from some random Scottish bloke on a podcast.

Elaborate on the horrid mistakes he made. We know every keeper makes the odd error but you are making it sound like it's a regular occurance which you know is not true. Pickford had a good season for us and has continued that into the World Cup (not Pickfords fault he is the best English keeper) so why can't people enjoy having a good keeper instead of being tutored by some that he is not all that.

I never said he was the English Neuer. All the miserable arl arses just can't be having it that we are actually praising one of our players. He won the player of the year and players player of the year, why do you feel it so necessary to undermine his achievements? He's also having a good tournament despite us being on the easy side of the drawer. Complaining and picking holes for at him for what reason?
