Don’t be stupid with our fan base might as well get the plane flying over getting him out of the club
Thankfully our match going fanbase aren't even close to the level of knee-jerk we see online. It might be far to quiet at Goodison these days but the vast majority of our fans don't turn on players that quickly.

Fair enough. But I do not see Pickford making errors any more than say Lloris does. And people rave about him.
Watched Loloris today and he was hopeless for 3 out of the 4 Arsenal scored.
De Gea as good as he is has made a few clangers this season.
They all make mistakes , its how they bounce back from them.

Any how its gone now , the lad needs a bit of backing on wednesday.

It’s sad though don’t you agree? The way the fans go on and turn on the players at the drop of a hat is ridiculous

Yes...exactly....the thing is we now actually have some hope, we are actually playing some pretty good stuff....lets look forward

Not really.

I don't see any abuse for the players on Wednesday. The Goodison crowd have been far better in my experience this year.
I don’t mean at the game although it can be toxic like BFS for instance but understandable in some circumstances. On here it’s sad I just hope players don’t read some of the tripe on here

100% agree but I don't think the bulk of nonsense being spouted online is a fair reflection of our match going fanbase. I doubt half the people on here who are chatting the most wham would ever say half the BS they're spouting to a person in a face to face conversation. They'd their life being laughed at and avoided by most rational people

Its disappointing, but hes a young lad for a Keeper, hes the type that will make the odd howler, it was just an error of judgement, we move on.
This is the way I’m looking at it.

I’m sure this is the case.

He is our keeper and will be our keeper for many years to come. Even the very best keepers make clangers these days. The worst thing about today was that it happened in the 96th minute when we had no chance to do anything about it.

Tough to take but we will get over it as will Pickford. Roll on Wednesday when he will need support when the Horsebeaters will be reminding him about it in no uncertain terms.

Bullied at school so take it out on people online would be my guess

People are just upset at the howler.

I like all our players currently, unlike most of last year's team. I haven't seen anything that bad. Bar the irrational hate Walcott gets.
