2018/19 Jordan Pickford

My best mate's twin brother works at Finch Farm and he said that Jordan is absolutely mortified by that freak RS goal. Apparently he's spent the last 24 hours apologising to all and sundry.

I just hope it doesn't dent the kid's confidence. The last thing we need is our only decent goalkeeper becoming a bag of nerves. A warm reception on Wednesday night should help in that regard.

Good call.

But the question has to be: how many mistakes does he have to commit to withdraw that good will?

Every keeper makes mistakes. De Gea makes mistakes especially on his near post but De Gea gets more attention for his good points rather than his mistakes and rightly so. Just let it go and stop your propaganda BS. I am not defending Pickfords mistake as it was a howler but a mistake is what it was and is. Let it go and don't stew on it. Don't concentrate on the negatives and look to the positives. Pickford overall is undeniably a positive.

All those second string GKs you mention I'd have in goal for Everton in a heartbeat to teach that lad a harsh lesson. We have Stekelenburg. It's contributing to poor focus....and that < is me being lenient on a GK I have no regard for. If he has competition, then who knows?

Hold on a minute. You’d have the likes of Gazzaniga and Caballero instead Of Pickford?

This is game over mate.

Pickford will be fine we are not them, leaving a teammate alone after a match, he won't be packed off on loan like Karius...

24. He's a man now. He's just a daft man-child.

Football's littered with them. They never shrug it off.

For an outfield player he is a man in football terms, As goalkeeper 27 to 34 would be the peak. Much about keeping is awareness and that only come through match time..
