Agree with this. Top level goalkeepers such as De Gea tip that over the bar all day long.

I can see why he´s done it. Basically earns us the draw rather than facing another corner but you´ve just got to be safety first at all times unless you´re cruising in a game.

Doesn't have to be top level. A schoolboy keeper would tip that away 99 times out of 100. Its basic goalkeeping.

Every so often though at any level the goalie will do something different. Sadly Pickford chose the worse time possible to do it. It happens.

Thomas Myhre was tremendous for a while and then lost his head and went awful. His debut against Leeds is still the best goalkeeping performance I have seen in the flesh.
