Which teams are these?

In the last 20 years we have 4 wins in 80 games at Old Trafford, The Emirates, Stamford Bridge and White Hart Lane. Face it, these problems run much deeper than our supporters treating the derby as a big game.
If we were talking about just away games I'd agree but I'm not. Our record in recent years at home againt them is a disgrace too.

And I'm not pinning this all on our supporters FFS. I go away every week and haven't missed a home game in nearly twenty years. Of course there's far bigger problems at this club. I've said for years that our problems go way deeper then anyone thinks. From the the very top. I just believe that we put to much emphasis on the derby and that it works againt us.

I've forgiving Pickford but If they win the Prem by two points ye have to admit he may go down in history as 'that keeper'. Unless he wins a thing or two with us.

I mean, it´s always going to be the case. We´re no different to any other club in the way we pin so much on just a couple of games of football a season.

Phil Neville said something about us placing too much importance upon the game but how can you blame the supporters? We have beaten them so rarely and done so little in terms of overall success that beating Liverpool does become what you define a season by. It´s a sorry state of affairs but a sign of how things have gone since Moyes´ departure.

Bit off topic, me, not you, but Fergie was obsessed with breaking the Everton/Liverpool domination in his early United years.

Pickford will be sound.

But that's just it mate, I never blamed our supporters for our misrable derby record (I'd be blaming myself if that was the case since I'm there every week). If you read back what I originally said it was that we place to much importance on the derby and it works againt us. You have chosen to interpret that as me saying that we as a fanbase are responsible for us never winning a derby. That's obviously not the case and clearly isnt what I said.

Fair enough. Sadly it´s not going to change given the abject failure in this fixture in recent times. It makes me angry when I think about Allardyce´s approach to this game at home last year, we won´t get a better chance to get the monkey off our back than that.
