I wouldn't of been celebrating, point or not. It'd still be another derby at Klanfield that we'd failed to win. I'd smiled for about five mins, laughed at the RS then been annoyed that we'd gone another derby without a win. Sure it would've been nice to deny them a win and losing in the way we did was pure horrible but Pickford dropping that clanger was nothing more then a horrible moment that handed them two points in a early Dec fixture.

I suspect Pete Andre (ie Pickford) will be mentally scarred by the RS experience and I can’t see him being selected for future derbies. I’m not sure how good Country Road is, but he should play ahead of Pete in future fixtures

I acknowledge that he is now ‘damaged goods’ (mentally). However, I wouldn’t throw the baby out with the bath water: but I wouldn’t play him in future derby fixtures...it’d be unfair on him...and us

It'd be nice to think we had some competition in place for Pickford - if not after the new year, then certainly by the summer.

You can always hope Miceh, and of the four league games played between Liverpool and United under Klipperty and Mourino Liverpool haven't won one, in fact I'm not sure Klipperty has won against United in the league, might not mean much but you never know.
