I think the England shirt handed to him by Turnip Southgate has blinded a lot of people about this lads true ability.
He's a Championship GK who was best at a Championship-bound club - saving ten shots per game but letting in another 4/5 per game. People thought it was the Sunderland defence and Moyes etc making him concede all those goals. It was also him.
£30M we were mugged for him. Another Koeman disaster story.

yep, say the same myself, great keeper who would surely swap burnley's bench for ours. We could be in europe next season so he'd get plenty of games and also if he's thinking of displacing pickford for england, displacing him here would be a real signal of intent.

Lost my [Poor language removed] watching him yesterday. His decision making for a "top" keeper is appalling. His distribution is average at best, played his full backs in to trouble more than once yesterday and as for the command of his box . Don't want to put the boot in on the lad as he's obviously a passionate kid, but instead of believing his own hype and #sendthemin, he perhaps should focus on becoming a better goalkeeper for his team's sake and his own.

Ive seen nothing from him to prove you wrong. He was another terrible Walsh/Koeman buy. Its about time people start seeing him for the keeper he is, and not some dreamy england nr 1. Doing well against jarg national teams isnt the same as cutting it at the highest level, people need to understand that.

Think he needs some serious coaching on the mental side of his game. I am not sure how his personality would react to being told that.
A lot of goalkeeping is down to instinct as well and his seem to be wrong. Sometimes you've got to be cautious and others you've got to be gung ho. He seems to ge those decisions wrong.
