Why dont you write to him and point out that he needs to work on his positioning. Give him a few examples. Im sure he would appreciate the laugh.

One thing people may not have noticed, the tactic seemed to be play the ball out to Digne to win the header to Bernard, who cant win a header and then the ball would come back. Who is telling Pickford to do this. Surely the ball has to go right and not left, or more to the point up field!

Big Nev used to do his long kick up to Cottee and Beardsley which obviously came straight back.Goalkeepers can be an odd bunch!

I would rather the ball go out of play in Liverpools half than VVD heading back into our danger zone. DCL hardly won a header from pickfords punts down the middle. Least we could get up the pitch to defend a throw. I know DCL was given high praise but he hardly bothered VVD in the air as he was misjudging the flight all the time. Maybe the wind effected us more than Liverpool lol

@davek To be fair mate he did as I suggested yesterday. He made a couple of excellent saves and kept us in the game. Not enough to perhaps repay the mistake he mad the other game, but a start in getting back to where he should be.

And I was having a giggle that he thinks he can teach Pickford all he needs to onow about positioing. If thats allowed in your little world.

His kicking all game was an utter disgrace. He helped them to get control over the ball countless (needless) times. It's like watching a local Sunday league GK.
